Very special congratulations to Lukáš Vondráček on winning one of the most prestigious and hotly contested international piano competitions, the Reine Elisabeth in Brussels.Lukáš came to the Keyboard Trust exceptionally young, when he was 14 and the Trust half that, but his talent had clearly marked him out. He played for us in London, in both West and East Berlin (initiating our collaboration with the Hanns Eisler Academy) and our very first concert at Steinway Hall in New York. His stature is now assured.
