Keyboard Trust Artist, Yuanfan Yang, is to be one of the 12 composer finalists in the Rachmaninoff international competition Composition Category.
After being anonymously selected from over 150 international entries with no age limit (where candidates had to submit a full-scale piano concerto and a solo piano work), Yuanfan will be giving the world premieres of his Piano Concerto No. 3 in Five Movements with the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, along with his Petite Partita, in June in Moscow at the Rachmaninov Concert Hall – Philharmonia 2. Both works, as well as the rest of the competition, will be live streamed online.
