Born in Italy in 2001, Elia Cecino began his studies at 9 with Maddalena De Facci and at 17 he graduated Summa cum Laude from Cesena Conservatory. In 2020he achieved the Specialization Diploma of the Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella with Andrzej Jasinski. He studies with Eliso Virsaladze at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.
Since 2014 Elia has performed in venues such as Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Fazioli Concert Hall in Sacile, Teatro Toniolo in Mestre, Teatro degli Industri in Grosseto, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Sala degli Affreschi of Società Umanitaria and Spazio 89 in Milan, Bolzano Conservatory, Sala dei Giganti in Padova, Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, Auditorium della Gran Guardia and Società Letteraria in Verona, Palazzo De Nobili in Catanzaro, Casa della Musica in Cosenza, Palazzo Litta in Milan, Casa Mozart in Rovereto, Gesellschaft für Musiktheater in Vienna, Schloss Wolfsburg, Italian Culture Institute in Hamburg, Palatul Culturii Iași, Aula de Cultura in Murcia, Teatro Thuillier in Caravaca de la Cruz, Dvorana Glasbene Šole in Radovljica. In 2016 he took part in a concert tour to the USA.
He has performed as soloist with the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, Sichuan Philarmonic, Bacau Philarmonic, FVG Orchestra, Morbegno Vivaldi Orchestra, Joven Orquesta Leonesa, Empoli Busoni Orchestra, Complesso d’Archi del Friuli e del Veneto, Concentus Musicus Patavinus Orchestra, Pordenone San Marco Orchestra.
Elia also regularly plays chamber music in festivals such as “Carniarmonie” in Ravascletto, “Armonie in Corte” in Udine, “Estate Concertistica di Lamole” in Greve in Chianti, “Gioie Musicali” in Asolo, “Campus delle Arti” in Bassano, “I concerti a Palazzo” for Ensamble Serenissima in Sacile. In December 2020 he collaborated with cellist Mario Brunello on 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.
In October 2020 he released his debut CD on Suonare Records focusing on Beethoven, Chopin and Skrjabin and a monographic Chopin album is published in April 2021 by OnClassical. Some of his recitals and interviews have been broadcast on Rai Radio 3, Radio Popolare, Rai Friuli Venezia Giulia and Radio MCA. He participated in the TV show “Prodigi” for Unicef on air on Rai 1.
He is the winner of XXXVI Premio Venezia and has won prizes at international competitions including Pozzoli in Seregno, Casagrande in Terni, Schumann in Düsseldorf, Luciani in Cosenza, Tkaczewski in Busko- Zdrój, Città di Albenga, Isidor Bajic in Novi Sad, Chopin in Budapest, Marciano in Vienna, Bramanti in Forte dei Marmi.
