Sebastian-Benedict Flore, born in Rome, began his piano studies at the age of five. He studied for five years at the Centre for Young Musicians with Francis Reneau and is currently in his final year of study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the studio of Katya Apekisheva.
He has won various prizes, including the third prize in the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe’s Junior Intercollegiate Piano Competition and, most recently, first prize in the Liszt Society’s International Piano Competition. In demand as a solo and chamber musician, he has also performed in some of London’s most prestigious venues, including Milton Court, the Barbican Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall.
