Nikita Lukinov’s performances have taken place in numerous venues including Wigmore Hall (London), Kings Place (London), Fazioli Hall (Italy), St. Petersburg Music House, The Small Hall of Moscow Conservatory and the Vaduz Rathaussaal (Liechtenstein).
His most recent awards include First Place in the Inter-Russian Competition “Music Talents of Russia”, Russia 2020; Second Place in the Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition, Spain 2021; and the Grand-Prix at the First International Online Competition of Music and Arts “Tokyo Stars”, Japan 2021.
Nikita is a recipient of personal scholarships from the Voronezh’s State government “For outstanding cultural achievements”, from the National Artist of Russia V. Ovchinnikov and from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein. Nikita is one of the musicians of the Talent Unlimited scheme in London. In the summer of 2021 he will participate in the Verbier Festival in Switzerland.
He has had masterclasses with D. Bashkirov, D. Alexeev, S. Osborne, V. Viardo, N. Ogawa, K. Gerstein among others.
A native Russian, Nikita Lukinov started his musical education at the age of six in Voronezh, Russia. At the age of 14 he won a full scholarship to study at the Purcell School in London with Prof. Tatiana Sarkissova. Nikita is currently a full scholarship recipient at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he is pursuing his BMus Degree studying with Prof. Petras Geniušas.
